General English (076327D) is designed to enhance your language proficiency and communication skills in English. This course is suitable for students at various levels, from beginners to intermediate English speakers, aiming to develop their language competencies for academic, professional, and everyday communication. The course focuses on improving your reading, writing, listening, and speaking abilities in English, providing you with a strong foundation to succeed in your academic and professional pursuits.

Course Objectives:

Reading and Comprehension: Enhance your reading skills by analysing and interpreting various types of texts, such as articles, essays, and literature.

Writing Skills: Improve your ability to express your thoughts and ideas clearly and coherently through different types of writing, including essays, reports, and creative pieces.

Listening Comprehension: Strengthen your listening skills by engaging with a variety of audio materials, such as podcasts, lectures, and conversations.

Speaking and Presentation: Build your confidence in spoken English by participating in discussions, presentations, and conversations, allowing you to express yourself effectively in various contexts.

Levels

We have four General English levels:

1. Elementary
2. Pre-intermediate
3. Intermediate
4. Upper-intermediate

You will take a placement test on your first day to determine which level of English is right for you.

Assessments

Class tests, group work and class participation help you meet the learning objectives of your program and to monitor your progress in reaching these objectives.
